for pa-risc based systems:

echo "selclass qualifier cpu;info;wait;il"|cstm|grep "PDC Firmware"

(command on one line)

for itanium based systems:

/usr/contrib/bin/machinfo | grep "Firmware revision"

That command works for all HP-9000 servers running recent versions of HP-UX and the Online Diagnostic tools. Note that if your version is out of date the command may not work.

HP doesn't guarantee these menu simulations will work version to version in the Diag tools.

I strongly recommend taking the time to keep your systems current on firmware.

If you have LAN Console configured , do telnet to MP or if you have Serial Terminal console , login to MP and follow
MP->CM->SYSREV
