Re: firmware ??

Looks like a serviceguard issue becaue of the reference to heartbeat.

As far as firmware updates go, here is a link.

Re: firmware ??

Hi Moon,

Here is some info regarding PAT_PSM

http://docs.hp.com/en/B3782-90726/ch04s01.html
Which is usefull only in case of N-Class server running 64bit OS.
Also there are some patches associated with pat_psm, see you have them installed

Re: firmware ??

Not really much help, but I tried to search down this error too. I have the same error on only 1 server (Server has 2 NPARS). RP7420 running hpux 11.11.

These two servers are soon to be patched so hopefully this will go away. I believe the firmware is a 2 revs behind (I've heard they released a new one last April) so that may clear it up too.

We don't use MCService Guard.

Not much help, but your not alone either.

Re: firmware ??

It's a PDC issue. Check your GSP logs, if the error repeatedly then update your PDC firmware. If the error happens periodically, clear your GSP logs. The message can be ignored.

Re: firmware ??

Thank you for reply~

I cleared all logs. I plan to update
firmware if it happens again.
