The latest I know of is version 6. Since oracle and so many other companies have updated the flash products using the old version is getting errors example is with oracle's matalink site. everthing will not display and you can't download the patches if the buttons are not there :-)

what usually happens in these cases is you wind up running a windows box to do the access / download and then go from there.

SolutionI have tried a few times to make HP-UX into a desktop operating system.
It is possible. The Acrobat reader is old but good enough. There is a flash download available, and gtk and java are sufficient.
I've tried and failed to compile open office and believe with enough work it can be done.
As a desktop OS, HP-UX is not the way to go. For browsing the Internet, it should be possible to get things working.

WHAT file? The flash player? what makes you think the version for Linux will run on HPUX (assuming thats what you intend to try)??????

I meant I had downloaded the HP-UX version of flash player to my workstation and then later sftp the file to the servers that I needed to install it on. I KNOW you can not use a Linux version on HP-UX.
