flasplayer in mozilla1.5 does not work
Hi-
I am using a C110 with 11.00.
Mozilla 1.5 with Java 1.4.1 works just fine,
but I am unable to get the HP-supported flashplayer 6 to work.
/opt/gnome/lib links to /usr/local/lib,
gettext, libiconv, gtk+ and glib are installed.
I tried to move the flashplayer.so directly into /opt/mozilla1.5/mozilla/plugins,
but it simply doesn`t show up on the mozilla plugin list.
Any ideas?
Regards,
ralf

Re: flasplayer in mozilla1.5 does not work
Hi-
No error messages. Flashplayer simply is not
in the plugins list.
I didn`t install the patches because they are
for the B2000 and I have a C110.
I could install the unicode patch, but I can
live without unicode support.
The problem has to lie somewhere with the acceptance of plugins within mozilla since
the flashplayer doesn`t show up at all on
the plugins list.
If the flashplayer was faulty, I would
expect that it would show up in the list
and crash later on loading a flash site.
Just guessing...
