flush_error: error flushing "file8": I/O error

HPUX11.11 running on a C3750 and IC tester application software. When the application software is launch and measurement is started, a window pops up with multiple lines of " flush_error: error flushing "file8": I/O error. Then HPUX will not allow to open another terminal or exit out of CDE. The workstation must be powered OFF via its AC ON/OFF switch. At that point, we can not also telnet onto that host.

Workstation also have 2 GPIB and Optical PCI I/O boards to control the IC test system.
