Font setting in HPUX CDE

Hi all!
We have an old 715 class workstation running 10.20.It gives exceptionally large font sizes when we try to run "xxgdb", a software debugging utility. The utility doesn't have any inbuilt option to adjust the font size.Although the font size when "xterm" is run from the console is also large, it an be reduced using the "xterm" options.
I would like to know how and wherefrom CDE takes the font settings and how these can be manipulated so as to reduce the default font
size.

Check these files:

/etc/dt/config/Xsetup
and /usr/dt/config/Xsetup.
