Fonts and Mail

I am using mailx to mail an sql spool report to microsoft outlook. When it makes it to the outlook side, the columns are messed up. I set charset=us-ascii in order to get the report in the body of the message. Is there other character sets that are better suited for this, or any other suggestions would be appreciated :)
