where can I get the program rdate for HP-UX!?

It does not exist and certainly is not supported. Get a source and compile is and option.
HP-UX ntp is better than rdate and supported

Hi,
Use xntpd. It's much more accurate, and continously updates the time. If you use 'rdate', it causes the date to jump, which can cause all kinds of problems for both open files and cron jobs.
