Forcing full duplex on 1Gb card ( HP A7012-60001 PCI/PCI-X 1000Base-T Dual-port Adapter)

Hi,

my problem is forcing full duplex on 1Gb.
Autonegotiation must be turned off because of switch.
But when I turn autonegotiation off on card, it can't work on 1Gb, but only on 100MB.
Any idea for workaround?

I think, You can't disable autonegotiation in a Gigabit ethernet card. If you disable it, your card will be at 100 MBPS. That's true. No work arounds available as far as i know,

The gigabit cards *require* auto-negotiation. If you try to force them you will get 100 Mb, as you have seen. You need to figure out why your switch has issues and correct that, instead.
