[Forum] Searching or listing my own queries

Hi,

I like the feature of having my responses listed under my profile. However, is there a way for me to search through or generate a listing of my past queries?

TIA for the help. Regards.

Re: [Forum] Searching or listing my own queries

Hi:

If you 'open' your profile, you will see the posts for which your answers received an 8-10 point award. Clicking "more" will yield the full list.

It is also possible to do a SEARCH (using the button on the left) with your name, along with other keywords, to resurrect posts.

Re: [Forum] Searching or listing my own queries

Hi,

You are right. Thanks.

I knew about the part on listing my responses via the profile page but was not aware that the ITRC search actually allows me to specifically search and list my past queries (including my responses) in the forum.

Btw, looks like square brackets [] don't work in the forum subject listing. A story server bug perhaps?

Regards.

Re: [Forum] Searching or listing my own queries

Hi Steven:

BTW, searches will return only 50 items from the Community Forum. Further, I can't find any pattern to the items returned. Thus, if you specify only your name, without other conditions, you will probably fail to find what you seek!

Thanks for noting that the square brackets don't work in subject postings...I wondered what it was that you had typed.

Regards!

Re: [Forum] Searching or listing my own queries

Hi,

Thanks.

I specified 100 items per page and I only got around 25 upon search. The generated list did not have my queries dated back in Jun 2000.

How often are items in the forum purged or are they?

TIA. Regards.

Re: [Forum] Searching or listing my own queries

Steven:

Yes, even specifying 100 items for return doesn't alter the behavior. Sometime ago, I had suggested to the ITRC that returning much more than 50 hits would be very desirable.

You can submit suggestions (or report problems) via the "contact hp" link on the left. Choose "contact hp" -> "send us feedback...". You might want to suggest this too!

Regards, Jim.

...oh, forgot to add that to the best of my knowledge, nothing has been purged or archived since the inception of the forum...
