frame error condition

Hi!

I'm receiving this kind of error messages in the syslog:
Jan 17 11:15:00 poru0201 vmunix: fddi0 (instance 2): Frame Error Condition: Frame Count 1, Error Count 1, Lost Count 12413769

I don't their problematic, but can you explain me their reason to appear?

The "Frame Error Condition" message is being generated by a known bug in SMT 7.3. This message is harmless and should not affect the operation of your system. However, I believe it was corrected in a later driver for this FDDI card. I would recommend you update the drivers from the latest application CD Rom.
