frecover and symbolic links
I tried to create a symbolic link from 1 file to another file and frecover with -X just destroys the link.
Is their an option for frecover to follow the link all way when the link is a file rather than a directory?
I'm sure the answer is no, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Re: frecover and symbolic links
Hi:
The restoration by 'frecover' of a symbolic link or the object to which it points depends upon how 'fbackup' was optioned.
The '-s' switch to 'fbackup' tells it to backup the object of the symbolic link. The default is to backup the link itself.
See the manpages for 'fbackup' for more information.
Regards!
