frecover and ultrium 3?

frecover and ultrium 3?

Has anyone successfully recovered using frecover and a Ultrium 3 tape drive. fbackup appears to work just fine but during the frecover process it hangs and never completes. No error messeges.

Shalom,

It's probably not the Ultrium 3 drives. I know a few people that have successfully used them for recovery.

I'd suggest looking at your general system patch level and searching the itrc patch database for patches related to fbackup/frecover and installing relavent patches.

Makding sure a recent HWE(Hardware Enablement) and Semi-annual patch set is also a good idea.
