free memeory
I just recently had to use the recovery cd on my computer, now i get this
message that there is not enough free meemory and i should delete the exsiting
applications. why would there not be enough if i just rocovered it? As you can
tell i am not a computer whiz, so any info will be greatly apppreciated.

check your swap space. swapinfo command.

Glance would be the best tool to measure this type of memory problems.
A 90 day trial of glance is on one of the CD's that came with your system. I
think the Application CD.
