free tools for monitoring servers

are there some free tools for monitoring serverstats eq. cpu load, memory, free disk space etc ????

Yes, there are some very good monitoring systems.

Nagios - www.nagios.org
Zabbix - www.zabbix.com

Actually, last week I installed Zabbix in HPUX and Linux servers and I can tell that there is a very effective and simple system. Nagios I think a bit more powerfull and famous, but it's way more difficult to install and maintain than zabbix.

I have written monitors for many things for HPUx, so if you choose Zabbix I can mail them to you.
