Put them in the freezer?

What exactly do you mean "Freezing of Service Guard packages?" Are you wanting to shut the packages down? Suspend them so they don't respond? Something else?

Please elaborate.

I think you are thinking of such a feature like 'cluster freeze' in VCS. It's a though one we also get from our customer, and in these cases we always unset the AUTORUN flag in order not to get the package switched in case of a failure.

# cmmodpkg -d PACKAGE

Hi,

There is no such feature in Service Guard , it's only with VCS
