SolutionThe limits were the same on 11.00. I don't recall Advanced or Online JFS adding anything there though it came with nice tools for degragmentation and such.
Since HFS is used on my systems only for the kernel, I've never had one bigger than 512 MB.

Re: FS Size limitation
"VxFS can, theoretically, support files up to two terabytes in size because file system structures are no longer in fixed locations (see Disk Layout). The maximum size tested and supported on HP-UX 11.x systems is one terabyte. Large files are files larger than two gigabytes in size."

Re: FS Size limitation
Filesystem : File size : File system size
HFS: 128GB : 128GB
VXFS (v3.3): 2TB : 2TB
VXFS (v3.5/4): 2TB : 2TB
VXFS (v5) : 2TB : 12TB (comes with sep2004 hp-ux)
AdvFS: 128 : 512GB (I found two different statements by HP, somewhere it says: "Although AdvFS can support page sizes larger than 13 bits, the theoretical maximum AdvFS file and fileset size is 16 TB (2^32 * 2^31) with a 13-bit page size and 31-bit page number.")
sgi cxfs: approx. 9 million TB: 18 million TB.
(hp-ux support is still in the works, I think, so ignore this, I just couldn't keep my fingers still)
