fsck crashes with memory fault
Machine (HP UX 10.20) doesn't boot:
Cannot mount /dev/vg00/lvol3.
Run fsck manually.
When using the recovery disk with the recovery shell
fsck gives the following messages:
Support# fsck /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2lvm
** /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2lvm
** last mounted on /
** Phase 1 - Check Blocks and Sizes
Memory fault
Support#
Any Comments or Suggestions ?
Thanks
Frank

Re: fsck crashes with memory fault
HI,
You havent specified what fs type in your fsck cmd, I would give it a try with also -V and see if it changes anything, if better again less -V...
My 2 cents...
All the best
Victor

Try with a later version of Support CD.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try
