FTP access error. Connection Lost
I am trying to get ftp access my rp5470 running hpux B.11.11. I am getting connection lost on my ftp client when I try ftping from a Windows platform. I do not get this error when accessing using another Unix server.
I checked the syslog and got this error:
getpeername (usr/lbin/ftpd): Socket operati
on on non-socket
#grep ftp /etc/inetd.conf
ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/lbin/ftpd ftpd -l
tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/tftpd tftpd\
Can someone please help

reread the inet daemon and check again. and also you can verify to ftp localhost.
#inetd -c

The problem could be on the client system (your PC). Any personal firewall in use?
