ftp administration
Hi,
Advance thanx to all...
I need a help regrding the ftp administration.
I have a hp unix server with ftp service enabled.
I WAnt to create some ftp users, in that one account should have administrator account and that account should have the permission to see the content of others ftp users.others should not access the administrator account's contenet.Moreover there should be one directory taht can accESSEd by everybody including FOR SHARING PURPOSE.
Please help to resolve this issue.

FTP is a simple basic protocol - it's not going to fit into an Administrative/tier level control. The best way to do that is by dir/file permissions and users set up properly with 'chroot'
Search the Forums and you'll find out how to do this.
