I want to send the folers from windows to unix server , I tried to use winzip and send by bin mode through ftp on windows side and then uncompress it on linux side , but it is fail , could suggest how to do it ? thx

Solution
You can use the unzip command to retrieve the contents of a Winzip file ..
With linux unzip comes by default ...
on HP-UX you have to install it,
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Misc/unzip-5.50/

Hi Peter,
You could use something like Hummingbird Maestro NFS client software on your PC - you can then just drag and drop. That's what we do in B110!

No need to winzip (unless to big)
I use ftp reflection, drag and drop the folder from win to Unix server. no problem.
