ftp gets hanged

During ftp the file transfer gets hanged in between & it doesn't gets continued further.

ftp> ha
Hash mark printing on (1024 bytes/hash mark).
ftp> mput bsa
mput bsa? y
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for bsa.

Hi,

Maybe there is a firewall between the source and the destination and you get timed out after a certain duration.

The problem was quite similar. We have a compression box on the wan link through which FTP was being done. The problem was debugged to a configuration error on the compression box.
