FTP MESSAGES IN SYSLOG FILE
Greetings,
What are these messages about;
tftpd[27567]: Timeout (no requests in 10 minutes)
Is this an FTP service/daemon that is timing out?
Thanks
Kurt

Re: FTP MESSAGES IN SYSLOG FILE
Kurt,
Typically the trivial ftp daemon will wait in the background for new
requests, when active it will wait in a more active mode, then after the
specified time, will go back to idling away in a sleep state. This is the
change that you are seeing reflected in your syslog.
Best regards,
Melanie Goetz
