Ftp restriction shell !
Hi !
I want to configure something like a "Start-Up Program". That is posible when you add one new user to the system and define a restriction shell(/usr/bin/rsh). Exist something similar for the ftp service ?.
My intention is restricted the change of directories in one ftp session.
Thank's in advance !

Ivan -
I have used to attached document to create a restricted ftp user, if this is your intent.
Best of luck.

dl

Re: Ftp restriction shell !
Hi Ivan,
Look at the following thread that was just posted. We posted some examples in there. It may help you setting up the restricted ftp user.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try
