K580 Firmware and HPUX 11i

We're running PDC FW.. 39.43
Is this okay with 11i?

Is there a docu somewhere that states what minimum FW rev a supported HP-UX11i platform must be in?

Well...42.01 is the most current - get it here:

Definitely recommended.

Hi Nelson,

This is what I usually do to get the patches/firmware

itrc -> patch database -> firmware ->
Step1: CPU
Step2: K580

Should bring up the following

http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.search|&patchid=PF_CBHK4201&context=firmware:cpu

It says
"Do not update to firmware revision 42.01 unless Fibre Channel
boot is required.".

You can go through it and make a decision yourself.

39.43 will certainly run HP-UX 11.11 although I have also installed 42.01 on a K580 w/o Fibre Channel and that works fine as well.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
