Ftp sub-logins in HP-UX 11.0

Hello,

Does anyone know if ftp sub-logins are supported on
HP-UX 11.0. I just upgraded my 712/60 from 10.20
to 11.0 but now all my ftp sub-login accounts are
not working.

When login in as anonymous and then give the sub-login
account it returns with "530 Already logged in."

I would appreciate any help I could get, thanks.

AFAIK, sub-logins were removed from 11.0 as it could compromise security. This
is even though the man page on ftpd specify that sublogins are possible on 11.0

I had not heard of this, but it strikes me as a bad thing. I use sublogins to
enhance the security of anonymous ftp. Does anyone have more information on
this?

I have exactly the same problem migrating from HP-UX 10.20 to UX 11.
Now the Alcatel application, based on anonymous sub-logins, doesn't work on HP-UX 11 for a stupid problem; I say stupid because this is a loss of feature, the sub-logins was a way to add security to the anonymous FTP usage.
What is the answer of HP people?
