ftp/tcp: accept: Bad file number

Hi, I got this message in syslog and I wonder what this message means, see below.

T/EC-reference: 211147270758, T/EC-Severity: CRITICAL, Site: WMS, Hostname: n12500, IP-address: , Source: SYSLOG, Interp: hpux, DuplicateControl: Slots and Description, Message text:inetd[819]: ftp/tcp: accept: Bad file number

Machine info B.11.11 U 9000/800

Michael,
looks like an application format to me. What sort of monitoring software are you running?
Are you also seeing vmunix error messages in your syslog file?
