how do you limit ftp to access specific folder?

Shalom,

You do this by one of two ways.

1) Set the home folder to that folder and chroot the user.
2) With permissions for any other folder other than the intended folder blocked to the user in question.

Alvin -
In addition to SEPs comments, there is a doc attached for setting up an ftp only account. It may assist in what you are attempting to accomplish even if this is not an ftp only account you are working on.

I have always used ProFTP, available on Internet Express CD or software.hp.com.

Much more flexible and controlled than the included ftpd.
