FTPD daemon in 10.20

hi all,

I am in the process of implementing security policies of my company which required me to put Login banners for Telnet, FTP and SSH. As for telnet is concerned its a straight forward business. But ftpd daemon in 10.20 doesn't support Login banners. Can anyone pls help me in putting out login banners when someone opens an FTP prompt. Whether i got to go for an upgrade or a patch or etc..

Similarly for SSh sessions. The login banners are supposed to show up when someone opens a connection to the port itself and not after submitting username/password.

wuFTPD is available for UX 10.2. It support banners and a lot more. Don't have a link off hand, but I have it running on my 10.2 boxes.

As for SSH, have you looked at the sshd man page/config file. I'd be surprised if OpenSSH didn't have a banner option. Although you may be using an older version that doesn't have that option.
