Full filenames on CD

Full filenames on CD

If you mount a CD with either mount or pfs_mount, you only see the first eight characters of the filenames, then a dot and then three extension characters.
If you read the same CD on a Windows-computer, you see the full filenames !
Is there a way to mount the CD on HP-UX so that it shows the full filenames instead of the truncated ones ?

Re: Full filenames on CD

Cant. HP cant read long filenames on CD's written on a Windows PC.

If the CD was burned on Unix using Rockridge format then HP-UX can read it back as long filenames.

Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
