gcc-3.0.1 on hp-ux11.00
Dear admins and programmers,
I?ve encountered a problem trying to install new gnu?s compiler collection on the company?s hp 9000/770 unix-server as I can?t compile the sources neither with the cc_bundled nor with the c89 compiler found on the machine. Although I installed gnu-make I still keep getting dozens of error messages (warning 480 the -g option is only available with the ANSI C product) and the compiler stops assembling. The bison parser could help, but wouldn?t compile either
Problems originally occured when I tried to compile apache sources.
So my questions are now is it either possible to receive a precompiled gcc-3.0.1 from somewhere or is there any other workaround for this problem?
Furthermore I?d be happy to hear about somebody?s experience with the new static/shared c-library.
For any efforts thanks a lot in advance

Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
