Have fun
BTW, it might be that there are /some/ leftovers from earlier builds in this tbz. e.g. You should remove rm -rf /usr/local/pa20_64/hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.00 since there are no (useful) relations to this directory. Sorry. I might update the link, but then again, I might not :)

Re: GCC-3.0.4/64 + binutils-2.12/64
This is wonderful! Can you put up the gzip'ed tarball as well?
I don't have either Ansi-C or gcc compilers to play with. Unless there is a bzip depot for HP-UX 11.20 around for me to download.
Thanks in advance. Regards.

Re: GCC-3.0.4/64 + binutils-2.12/64
From the depot site, only HP-UX 10.20 and HP-UX 11.00 depots are available. I have downloaded the HP-UX 11.00 depot but it is not compatible with HP-UX 11.20.
I need the depot meant for HP-UX 11.20. Or perhaps you can send me the gzip'ed gcc+binutils HP-UX 11.20 depot?
Thanks. Regards.

If anyone wants it, he/she should make sufficient space available for me to put it.

Re: GCC-3.0.4/64 + binutils-2.12/64
FWIW, I've built gcc-3.1.1 3 times today
10.20/32/1.1
11.00/32/2.0
11.00/64/2.0
And I've rebuilt gdb-5.2 for 10.20/32/1.1 with above gcc port, because gdb from the porting center crashed itself. Now it works.
Again. I'm willing to put all these on public ftp, but I (my company) do not have enough space

Re: GCC-3.0.4/64 + binutils-2.12/64
may you provide me the building instructions for gcc 3.1 on hp-ux 10.20 1.1 from source or did you find any public web space for your binaries?
I tried to compile the 3.1 source package from the porting center with gcc 3.0.1 but that failed:
The gas used seems to be the wrong one. Compilation in the second stage fails with gas reporting an unrecognized directive STAB.
Regards,
Lars
