Reasons:
1) Its about hpux, it should run on that hardware
2) The mirror process and certain large downloads are having a negative impact on the main Linux servers ability to service websites. I have found that by spreading the heavy work across the four ports of my router, there are less losses of service to my paid customer base.
3) The anamolies that Merjin has reported in the my mirror content. I hope these will be resolved.
The transition will be a few hours after this post hits the database. It will be by DNS update and I'll give DNS latency a week before I take the next step which is to stop the mirror process on the Linux server.
Please use the email address on the website or any of my threads to inform me of any obvious issues such as content getting out of date. I hope the transition will be seamless.
