Getting Samba To Run On Multiple Packages

Hi there --

We have three packages on a two-node cluster where two run on node1 and the third runs on node 2. We are able to get Samba, HP brand, to run on all three packages simulataneously, but we are unable to mount shares on two of the three nodes due to problems with the username and password affiliated with the shares in question.

The package where the Samba mounts work is the first package where the application was configured to work. The two other packages have just recently had Samba added to the list of services that are provided by them. What additional steps do I need do in order to simultaneously mount all shares on all packages in the cluster? Thanks.

Re: Getting Samba To Run On Multiple Packages

Have you tried making sure your smb.conf file is consolidated to include all shares, then copy it to all the nodes in the cluster?

Just a thought,
Rgrds,
