Getting the following error when doing an Ignite backup.

ERROR: DESCRIBE_GROUP: Disk group version 100 currently not supported
save_config: Error - get_system_info failed to get VxVM disk group information from smapi listener.

It seems that your system has a version of VxVM falling somewhere between 3.5 and 4.1. The problem is that the VxVM listener does not recognize it as being valid.

Could you give me more information on how exactly your root filesystem came into being? Hopefully upgrading to VxVM 4.1 (DGV of 120) would resolve this issue. You might want to consult with Symantec.
