Getting vxvm error VxVM vxconfigd ERROR V-5-1-579
Hi,
I use VXVM for my serviceguard (11.16 in hp-ux 11.23 i64). When I try to import the diskgroup called omcdg, it gives the following error.
VxVM vxconfigd ERROR V-5-1-579 Disk group omcdg: Errors in some configuration copies:
Disk c5t0d0, copy 1: Block 0: Format error in configuration copy
Disk c5t1d0, copy 1: Block 0: Format error in configuration copy
VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-587 Disk group omcdg: import failed: Disk group has no valid configuration copies
My output of vxdisk is as follows :-
vxdisk -o alldgs list
DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS
c2t0d0s2 auto:LVM - - LVM
c2t1d0 auto:LVM - - LVM
c4t0d0 auto:LVM - - LVM
c4t1d0 auto:LVM - - LVM
c4t2d0 auto:LVM - - LVM
c5t0d0 auto:cdsdisk - (omcdg) online
c5t1d0 auto:cdsdisk - (omcdg) online
c5t2d0 auto:LVM - - LVM
Please let me know how I go about correcting this error ?
