Gigabit Ethernet Card on K420 Machine

Does anyone know if Gigabit Ethernet card works on K-420 machine?

If so, are there any issues that I should be aware of?

I've got a HP9000 Server Configuration Guide from 1999 and it says that with 11.00 the K420 can support the 1000Base-SX card product number A4926A. That is an HSC card, so you will need an open HSC slot.

I don't personally use that card, so I can't give any personal experience with it.

We have a Gigabit Ehternet Card on a K200
P/N A4924-6001

We had it installed by a HP engineer. It was simple to configure through sam
veni, vidi, vmstat
