Gigabit Ethernet Compatibility for UNIX Servers
I am looking for information on which HP-UX platforms supports GIGABIT-Ethernet and/or SANS.(Including D,K,T,V,N Servers)
I am rather new to HP but need this information for planning purposes. Any direction/information would be appreciated.

Re: Gigabit Ethernet Compatibility for UNIX Servers
Jay,
D,K,V,N all support Fibre Channel and Gigabit communications. The D & K box would use an HSC interface. The V & N would use a PCI interface. I am not aware of any FibreChannel or Gigabit connections available for a T series box.
I would suggest going to www.unixservers.hp.com as a starting point for planning. Or contacting your local HP office for specific questions.

Re: Gigabit Ethernet Compatibility for UNIX Servers
Hi,
T-600's do support fibre channel but not gigabit as well as some older D-class dont support gigabit either.
See supported servers and info etc... http://www.unixservers.hp.com/unixserverconnectivity/
http://www.unixservers.hp.com/unixserverconnectivity/adapters/index.html
Hope that helps,
Jason
