Glance/MeasureWare Upgrade

I am in the process of upgrading Glance/MeasureWare from 2.15 > 2.40. I stop mwa.

What other process need to be stop before I proced with upgrade?

OS 10.20

Is upgrade required reboot?

Thanks,

Junior

Re: Glance/MeasureWare Upgrade

no reboot. Just stop glance/mwa (and check the midaemon isn't running) and just swinstall it.

Re: Glance/MeasureWare Upgrade

I think that you should do
/opt/perf/bin/mwa.remove
Pleasure it.

Re: Glance/MeasureWare Upgrade

The remove is not necessary.

Stop the product. Ensure no glance sessions are running. (midaemon works fine as a check)
Install your upgrade.

Re: Glance/MeasureWare Upgrade

/sbin/init.d/mwa stop
kill any midaemons that are out there

Do the swinstall - no reboot is required.
