Glance - SystemTable
I use glance and i notice there is a option to view System Tables for current kernel values such as nproc, nfile ,etc..etc...
I wonder if the list of monitored values can be increased. I'm not sure if this is possible but if it is can someone tell me how? and also what other values can I monitor.

Re: Glance - SystemTable
kernel parameters can be changed, on 11.00 it alway requers a reboot on 11.11 not always.
You can use SAM to alter the parameters and look or look at:

Re: Glance - SystemTable
As to your question, I'm not sure, but I don't think you can change that display.

Re: Glance - SystemTable
Sorry for the previouse answer. I do not think it is possible to add or change the parameters monitored ( in the system tables window) You can add metrix on other fields like Global Info, that give you an insight on other kernel parameters.

Re: Glance - SystemTable
Most system wide kernel parameters are in Systen Tables, but you can look at glb_disk_queue for scsi_max_qdepth kernel parameter or at the process list add metrix like PROC_THREAD_COUNT of max_thread_proc kernel parameter.

Re: Glance - SystemTable
You can add metrix with gpm. I did not try it with glance so i do not know if thats possible.
