GNU gcc compiler

I am having problems getting gcc to run on a D350 running 11.11. I have installed gcc 3.4.3 along with make 3.80, gettext 0.14 and libiconv 1.9.2, all via swinstall.
When I try to run gmake install I get the error message "Execute permission denied".

Where am I going wrong?

Architecture.

D350 is PA7xxx, you need a pa-risc-1.1 build

fetch my 10.20 builds from my site, and use it to rebuild a fresh binary (with the scripts that are available there too) for your 11i system. Just pray it will work.
