GNU libraries
i want to register a UNIX computer with BrightStor SRM therefore
i need to install the GNU library. from where i can find the
proper GNU libraries for my server rp8420(11.11i).

If this is to install/support BrightStor SRM, do they have a list of libs and versions that you need?
In fact, why don't they have these with their product?

Because I don't know what is the versions of this GNU compiler.

and what is the Difference between
libgcc-4.2.1 and libgcc-4.2.2

You should be asking CA about this. If your BrightStor is already compiled, you need to know with what version.

You should be asking CA about this. Otherwise if you don't know this info, you'll have to experiment.

Perhaps you should ask the people who say
that you need it.

Roughly, libgcc-0.0.1? One is newer than the
other?
My GCC 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 include libgcc_s.4, so
I'd guess that libgcc_s.1 is older than GCC
4.2.1.
