Golden Image - Move to a New Server

I was wondering if there was a way to transfer an Ignite Golden Image to another server.

You absolutely can using your tool of choice, ftp,scp,sftp.

Do take the configuration files and portions of the INDEX file that are relavent so the golden image is useful.

Then check the configuration that you can connect via gui or boot and that everything will work.

Not sure if I understand you correct. Do you want to transfer a Golden Image from one Ignite server t another or, just clone a server uning an Ignite image.

Both is possible, but there is no automatic way. In the first case you have to configure the Ignite server in the usual way (for using an Ingnite Image).

The second case is not officially supported but, there is an (obsolete ?) whitepaper how to do. You can find it by searching the forum, I found it myself, attached to a thread here.
