What is a Golden image?

Hi,

It is an image which will be kept in ignite server and you can install the OS to a system. This is used in case of large scale installations, so that same time you can install so many servers same time. And you can image a system with fresh OS at any point of time.

Thanks Sooraj.But how and when this image will be created?Is this will get created while creating an ignite-ux?

Hi again,

You need an ignite server for this.
You can create the image and compile and index it to golden image from an OS DVD. There are procedure for this.
