GSP commands

Can somebody please tell me the commands to get a dump file from GSP. When I did a tc it just gave me the Alert Level and the other error messages but it did not create any files in /var/adm/crash like it should have? Wher can I find out all of the commands.
ThanX,
Greg

Re: GSP commands

check your /etc/rc.config.d/savecore for

SAVECORE=1

if it's not set to 1, you'll never get a core dump

Re: GSP commands

Hi Rainer, ThanX we did that already, the people that set this box up did not have that configured at all. I still need to know the commands, since I get no main screen on GSP.

Re: GSP commands

Greg,
TC is the right command

What do you mean with 'main screen' at GSP? you can type he to get the hel, but there is no 'main menu'

Re: GSP commands

The tc command only works if the server still has some minimal level of OS working. In other words if your system has completely crashed a tc will not work. However the registers are dumped regardless, these can be found in /var/tombstones, ts99 is the most recent.
