GSP-info from root-prompt

Hi Gurus!

Q: If you dont know IP etc. for your GSP, and cant access your server physicaly, is there a way to get GSP's IP etc. from a UX-prompt?

Hi Danny

Some servers allow you to access the GSP as a tty port using cu. It depends what model server you have.

Hi,

If you are in the site you can use the
RS232 serial(comm) port of GSP to get the
GSP prompt .Yoy can get the IP address
details from this.

Noway to get the IP Address ,only thing you hv to connect through Serial cable and get in to GSP and configure IP/get ip from there only.

Thanx for your replies everybody - well, I knew about the RS232-connection, but as I specified, Im NOT able to access the server physicaly.

Its a rather new IA64, so I suppose its out of the question - even with cu.

But if anyone knows any more, please feel free to shared it.
