Guardian Service Processor (GSP)
I am new to HP and received this error:

Description of Error:
The service processor is not functioning.
Probable Cause / Recommended Action:
There could be a problem with the service processor. Verify support
processor operation. If the service processor has failed, replace the
system board.
There could be problem with the core I/O board. Schedule replacement of
the core I/O board.

The PDC_PAT_EVENTS function reports that the service processor is not
functioning.

Could some tell me what is broke? Also what is a "Guardian Service Porcessor"?

Mark,
If your GSP is not on firmware A1.09 do a frimware update of the GSP. That should solve the problem.
