Hanging "diskinfo" command 11.31 BL860c (legacy/persistent devices WWID)
Before hand I have to say this is unfamiliar territory for me when it comes to 11.31 so I hope you'll bare with me.
An HP-UX 11.31 system has been set up to run on a BL860c vg00 has been setup with persistent devices connected to the internal SAS controller.
When I perform a diskinfo on the persistent devices everything is fine I get the output as expected. But when I run the diskinfo command on the corresponding legacy devices the command hangs (also tried this on a similar setup where the command does not hang). I checked my syslog and checked the disk with cstm and everything seems fine. After a lot of searching on the forums here and the web I thought maybe it had something to do with the WWID not matching. But after a few more check ups I am not to sure about this anymore.
As I have limited access to the system I am really looking for hints and/or pointers to what to look for so I can read up on it and try it out when I do have access to the system.
One of the things in particular I am interested in is how can I match up the WWID of a legacy device with the WWID of the corresponding persistent device. In this case I am not looking for something like: ioscan -m dsf
Good hints will be generously awarded ;-)

A good point to start is this:
# sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasd0 -q raid
Now you know if you have "plain" disks or a hardware RAID. It will also tell the SAS ID.

# scsimgr get_info -D /dev/rdisk/
which gave me the WWID and tried to match that with:
# ioscan -knNfH
Which gave me something that also looked like the WWID but did not match in the end.
Would scsimgr give me the correct info on the particular SAS internal attached disk?

sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasd0 -q raid
Just hangs like the diskinfo does.
