Is there a happy "I'm pulling my hair out" sysadmin day? ;-) It is Monday (here) after all!

I had a terrible day last friday - decided to celebrate in my own way by accidently overwriting /usr/lib/libc.s0.1 on a solaris 2.7 production DNS server....

For those who don't know - just about everything to do with communications is in tied to that one library - if it is gone - so is all authentication type connectivity to that server - telnet, ftp, etc - including single user mode!

Anyways, several hours later, after booting from cdrom multiple times, breaking the mirrors, I was finnally able to get the same patched version of that file from another server - IE the one on the cdrom didn't work....

So instead of "Happy" it was "Geoff gives himself a headheache" day.

PS: DON'T TRY THAT AT HOME!
