hear beat fails in serviceguard

If the heart beat fails, what can we do solve that and what need to be check..

To prevent this configure more than only 1 heartbeat. See the admin guide.

maybe also consider taking a Serviceguard course

Try assign some points from the answer that you get.


By the default you SG configuration most have a minimum of two HEARTBEAT configured.

So when one become dead the node can comunicate by the other.


Problems with heratbeat my be problems with your network.


Check the cabels ip's network configuration ping's etc....
